Explosion Cleaning Method?

While doing the dishes today I opened a bottle of rootbeer that proceeded to explode like no other pop has exploded before.
All over my clothes, the sink, counters, kitchen floor, refrigerator, cabinets, even the floor in the next room.

On the plus side I've now wiped down the entire area and the kitchen has never looked so fresh and clean. ;)

(All white kitchens are impossible to keep clean, I do not recommend them.)

Annnd now I smell like very strong rootbeer.
